Overview

15-minute Presentation on the Area of Your Research or Related Field of Study

WEEK 1 – Each AMSI Winter School 2018 attendee will take turns to present a 15-minute talk on their research or related field of study to a small group (approx. 6-8 of their peers) in parallel sessions. At the end of each session, a secret vote is held – where participants rank their peers talks (no-one is allowed to vote for themselves) – with a ‘Winner’ from each group session determined.

WEEK 2 – The group session ‘Winners’ meet in the Talk Finals, where they present their talk to the wider delegation of Winter School attendees. A secret vote is held at the end of the Final session, where audience members vote for their favourite three (3) talks to determine an overall winner – who is awarded a prize.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions at the conclusion of each talk, and build collaborative networks throughout these sessions.

Please note: The proceedings for this school/event are not published.
