Application Process

Applications for AMSI Winter School 2021 require both the submission of the:

Application Form


Takes approx. 10-15 minutes to complete

 

Asks applicants to answer a number of questions and to supply the contact details of a ‘Referee’, who is able to comment on the applicant’s research and/or academic experience, and their suitability to the program.

 

Requires the submission of a letter of support from a current supervisor, honours coordinator, and/or head of school/department to support the attendance at AMSI Winter School.

 

Note: Submission of an application does not guarantee a place at AMSI Winter School. For more information, please see the ‘Acceptance’ section below.

Payment

Upon submission of the Application Form you will be redirected to Queensland University of Technology’s payment page. Your application is not complete until payment has been made.

Note: Program places will only be confirmed after School fees have been paid. If your application is unsuccessful a full refund of School Fees will be provided.

Acceptance

Acceptance of AMSI Winter School 2021 applications is at the discretion of the Event Director. Applicants will be notified via email (to the address provided on the form) the outcome of their application within 2 weeks of applications closing.

Applicants must confirm their acceptance of an offer, following the instructions provided in the notification email by the due date.

 

 

Refunds

Applicants who wish to withdraw their AMSI Winter School 2021 application must contact coordinator_rhed@amsi.org.au

Refund requests will be granted at the discretion of the Event Director.
